What an exterminator costs in Virginia Beach
"Exterminator" and "pest control" mean the same thing here: a licensed technician who treats what is actually in and around your home. Our general pest control services are sold as monthly plans, and these are the starting prices from our full pricing breakdown:
- Home Pest, from $39 a month. Quarterly interior and exterior service for ants, roaches, spiders, and other common household pests, with free re-service between visits.
- Pest + Termite, from $59 a month. Everything in Home Pest, plus termite monitoring with bait stations and an annual WDI termite inspection.
- Pest + Mosquito, from $69 a month. Everything in Home Pest, plus a seasonal mosquito barrier from April through October and tick and flea yard reduction.
- Total Home, from $99 a month. Pest, termite, and mosquito coverage together, with an annual crawl-space moisture check and priority same-day scheduling.
If you only need one visit, there is also a one-time service: a full inspection, species identification, and a targeted treatment, with no commitment to a recurring plan. We quote it after the inspection.
What changes your quote
Home size and what the technician finds on the free inspection set the final number. A few things sit behind that:
- The pest. A general plan covers ants, roaches, spiders, wasps and hornets, occasional invaders, and mice and rats. Termite and mosquito coverage are added with the Pest + Termite and Pest + Mosquito plans.
- One visit or a plan. In Hampton Roads the pressure changes with the seasons: ants and stinging insects in spring and summer, occasional invaders and rodents as it cools. If the same pests return every year, a plan with free re-service between visits can fit better than paying for a fresh visit each time.
- Crawl space and moisture. Homes in Virginia Beach often have crawl spaces, and moisture there affects both termites and pests. The Total Home plan includes an annual crawl-space moisture check.
What to check in any exterminator quote
Whichever company you call, ask these before you sign:
- Is the price in writing before work starts? You should know what you are paying before anyone treats the house.
- Is there a contract? Ask whether you are locked into an annual agreement. Our plans have no contracts, and you can cancel anytime.
- What happens if pests come back? Ask about re-service. With our plans, if it comes back between visits, we come back at no charge.
- Is the company licensed? Adamant's license is VA DPOR PCB #17169. Look up any company you are considering with the Virginia DPOR license lookup before you book.
- What products do they use? We use EPA-registered products applied by licensed Virginia technicians, placed in cracks, crevices, and the exterior perimeter. For general guidance, see the EPA's consumer page on pesticide safety.
What happens when you book
We offer a free inspection, scheduled within 24 hours. The final price is set after a technician has seen the home, not guessed over the phone. You can request a free inspection online, or call (757) 910-0014, Monday through Saturday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. If you want to see how pest pressure changes by neighborhood, our pest control and exterminator services in Virginia Beach page walks through it season by season.
Paying for bigger jobs
For larger jobs such as encapsulation, termite treatment, or bundled pest plans, payment plans are available. Our financing partner runs a soft credit check for initial approval, which does not affect your credit score, and you can pay early at any time with no prepayment penalty. Terms depend on your estimate, so we do not post one-size-fits-all numbers.
